About two weeks ago, I gave my daughter an English proficiency test here. The staff are very patient and the teacher is also very good. Although the teacher had a back injury that day, she still insisted on completing the test for her baby. The daughter's test results were also great. When we left, they kept saying my daughter was cute.

Both my kids have been attending for close to a year now and they have improved a lot in their english. Like that they are placed into classes based on their english level and not generically by age or school level. Teachers also provide feedback and guidance on how to support my kids in learning!

This is the best tuition centre I have been to. They are very attentive, and their response is prompt and helpful. The teachers are very supportive too. My children's English is doing well so far with LCentral AMK. When the children need help, they arrange coaching classes for them, which my children say is very helpful. My children enjoy every lesson; they feel happy going to tuition and coming back. I strongly recommend this tuition centre to everyone. 😊

Both my kids have attended LCentral since age 4/5, at the Ang Mo Kio outlet. My elder kid has been with LCentral for 6 years, and my younger kid has attended for 3 years so far.

The phonics program is very useful for young kids, especially for reading ability. My kids could read storybooks on their own from as young as age 5/6. Their pronunciation is even better than mine. Blending is very useful in learning new words and goes a long way in foundation building.

The lessons for Primary level are well paced, and coaching is a bonus. Having native-speaking teachers is a plus, and was also a main factor in my choice of tuition centre.

Special thanks to Teacher Jessy and Teacher Ewald for making learning English enriching and interesting. My kids love LCentral lessons the most among all the other tuition they attend.

When we enrolled Tabitha at LCentral, she had very limited knowledge of what sight words are and a very limited understanding of how to decode a word. We have been in the program for more than 1 year and we see a huge improvement in her English language ability. I send my children to LCentral as I find that their curriculum and materials are very good! Ever since Nathanael started attending LCentral when the centre had just started operations in 2022, his interest in English has improved tremendously. The interactive curriculum and resources in this new centre have sparked and instilled curiosity and interest in learning English at its best. My son will naturally use new words after each lesson and try to blend new words using the phonics sounds. It has promoted self-directed learning right from the beginning.

It also reinforces speaking proficiency by including the spelling of essential words beyond the level of my son's age. This has elevated his proficiency, putting him ahead of his age group.

The centre is very clean and spacious. The centre's colours and TVs are very welcoming too. The service staff are attentive to my requests as well. They have listened attentively to our requests and tried their best to answer every question and need over the past year.

LCentral is the first school I signed up for my child. I am thankful to the Centre Manager, who patiently advised me on how the curriculum works. My son went for an assessment in the first half of Primary 1, as I noticed he had difficulty reading and recognising words and had a hard time catching up in his primary school. The Centre Manager was tactful in managing my expectations, as he had to start from a lower level compared to other Primary 1 students. I am thankful I listened to her professional advice; now, after some time, I can see that my son has improved tremendously. I sincerely thank the Centre Manager and the staff for their advice and hospitality each time I send my son to school. Not long after, I also brought my younger girl to enrol with LCentral. My kids have been learning phonics and English at this outlet for about 5 years. I like that the teachers often take the initiative to give me feedback on my kids' progress, especially Teacher Scott, who shows genuine concern for his students' progress by giving very specific and detailed feedback, so that I am aware of their progress and can help my children at home. The manager and front desk staff are also very friendly and helpful and often try their best to help me arrange make-up classes or plan a better class schedule for me, as I have a few children attending their classes. That really solved a lot of logistics issues for me and I'm extremely grateful for that. Will highly recommend them to anyone looking for phonics/English classes for their children.

My girl (K2) has been at the school for one term, and I can see a great improvement in her English. This is Sara's dad. I would like to write a review of your tuition centre. I would like to mention that the service staff, e.g. Jasmin, did a fantastic job from onboarding to the latest programmes, and the teacher, Kingston, is bubbly and willing to mingle with the children during the teaching session; very passionate and enthusiastic indeed. My daughter Sara always mentions the teacher when she comes home! LCentral offers a variety of textbooks and learning tools to help children learn fast! My daughter Sara's English has improved a lot since the start of this program, and LCentral Punggol has a good environment too, especially with a swimming pool just downstairs. Thank you, LCentral Punggol, keep it up. I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and always very responsive to all my queries. I feel very assured that my child is safe at the centre (which is super important to me), as the staff will only release the children when they see the caregiver. Teacher Anne is a very experienced, committed and responsible teacher, and I'm so glad my child started with her at the beginner stage at age 4. The resources provided by the centre are very useful in guiding my child to read and write. Most importantly, he enjoys the classes. Definitely recommended!

My youngest daughter started her lessons at LCentral Kovan when she had just started K2 and continued all the way into primary school. Through the centre's structured curriculum and the superb teaching of the teachers, she mastered the skill of reading and had a good understanding of the English language.

With such a solid base, she excelled in English throughout secondary school without tuition, obtaining a Distinction in 2022 GCE O level English Language.

With that in mind, I have no hesitation enrolling my 5-year-old granddaughter at LCentral Kovan this year. She has just started 2 lessons and she's already looking forward to attending her next lesson.

We have been extremely pleased with the progress and education our children have received at LCentral, Singapore.

Our two boys joined LCentral in 2018, one of them in the "Foundations" course and the other in the "LaunchPad" programme. Both of them progressed well over the years through the LiftOff and Success programmes. Now they are in Success 2 and Success 3 respectively.

The course structure is aligned to the demands of the primary school syllabus, and the course content is well rounded, covering oral (reading/phonics and conversation), comprehension, vocabulary and grammar, as well as composition or creative writing.

The teachers are native speakers. Our children are fortunate to benefit from these highly skilled and dedicated teachers. They excel in providing individualised attention and support for our children's needs.

LCentral @ Tiong Bahru is a place I recommend for parents to send their child/children for English enrichment classes. It is a place where the teacher assesses the child's ability and proficiency level before he/she is promoted to the next level. This helps to build a strong foundation in a child’s language as the child moves up to the next level. I also appreciate the excellent customer service by Yen and her team.

Amelia is our youngest and the 3rd one we put in LCentral. I like their program, which is all-rounded. Awesome teachers, and it's so easy to rearrange the schedule with the option of hybrid/face-to-face if something crops up. 👍👍👍

Our main goal in choosing LCentral is to improve school results in all areas, and I’m satisfied with the PTM (Parent Teacher Meeting) frequency etc at this moment. Evans has been attending LCentral English since late P3 and has just completed P4.
Evans can be an active boy but can become socially introverted at times because of a lack of vocabulary and sentence building. This English class has given him a lot of confidence and assurance in public speaking. The class size is perfect for close learning.
Evans is coping well, can put together compositions and has a better understanding of deeper, more advanced conversations.
Lastly, Teacher Adrian is cool after all.

I've tried a few phonics schools before, and LCentral has been the best so far. My girl has shown tremendous improvement in just three months, which really impressed me. I do wish I had enrolled her earlier, as it would have helped her even more before entering P1, but I'm confident she'll catch up very soon. When my daughter started P1, there was a big gap between her English level and school expectations, and I was quite worried. L'Central assessed her based on her ability and placed her in the Lift-Off program with Tr. Kingston. After about 9 months, she has improved from reading only a few simple words to reading most books independently, which is amazing to see. She always says lessons are fun and looks forward to class every week.

LCentral Safra Punggol is a conducive & good learning environment for my 2 children to attend for almost a year. The admin team at Bukit Timah is very responsive, and messages are always replied to promptly. They go beyond their job responsibilities, providing a variety of colouring papers to keep children engaged while waiting for their parents. They are very friendly, always greeting with a smile.

Teacher James focuses on the holistic development of children. He not only praises them for academic achievements but also emphasises their attitude toward learning. The small stickers he awards always make my child feel proud. I can see my child becoming more confident in learning English and speaking better. The teacher-to-student ratio in class is well-balanced. The classroom is nice and clean. I never have to worry about my child attending lessons; there's no struggle or resistance. I don't have to remind or push for homework; my kids complete their work independently.

My daughter (from Launchpad to Liftoff, under Tr Thomas) has improved a lot in her phonics and reading. She is more confident when reading aloud and enjoys her lessons.

The teachers are patient and encouraging, and the curriculum is structured and systematic. The front desk admin staff, Pei Xing and Yee Ern, are also very friendly and supportive - always helpful with enquiries and updates.

We are happy with the progress so far and glad we enrolled them here.

The LCentral centre at Woodlands Civic is comfortable, the staff are very helpful and nice, and Teacher Beth is patient with the children. One more thing I need to highlight is that their online learning app is helpful for the kids; he is also very enthralled and enthusiastic to learn.

The admin staff are friendly and accommodating, and my son always looks forward to going for classes. He also comes back telling me how much he enjoys Teacher Thomas's classes. He has weekly spelling in school, and I can see him putting effort into using what he learnt in phonics to try to break down the words whenever he has trouble spelling them. No regrets sending him here for classes.

My kids have been with LCentral (Bedok) for a few years. The front desk staff are kind, and they took my feedback when I asked if it was possible to arrange their lesson timings. All 3 of my kids are at LCentral for English tuition at Bedok. The location is very strategic and near my home.

My P1 kid was unable to read initially, and LCentral has tremendously improved his reading. LCentral taught him the skill of reading words.

My P3 and P5 kids have also improved their composition writing skills.

Best of all, after every lesson they send me an update on what they have learned, so I can monitor their progress.

The reception staff are also very friendly and helpful. Prompt and responsive. Sometimes I came late to fetch my kid at around 9.15pm, and she stayed with my kid without complaint and without rushing me.

My daughter struggled with reading English and had less interest in her studies due to her lack of reading ability. After she started attending LCentral English classes, she improved a lot in her reading and writing. Though she still has some difficulties, she has more interest and confidence to read and write. She is now trying to read any material, such as storybooks, pamphlets and signboards, and testing herself.

I would like to thank the friendly staff, who are always accommodating, helping to schedule replacement classes and sending online review materials immediately. We've been with LCentral Punggol since my child was in K2, starting from the Launch Pad programme and now in Creative Writing at P3. The centre offers well-structured courses for different learning stages, which has really supported my child's progress in English.
