When Krisha first joined LCentral she could not read. Also when she was speaking, her sentences were incomplete and her grammar very weak. Now after completing the LaunchPad and LiftOff programmes Krisha reads independently. She loves reading funny stories at school and her teacher has commented on how much more confident she is now. She readily stands in front of the class speaking in show-and-tell. I know this is a direct result of her lessons at LCentral.
Krisha is now enrolled in the Success programme, and enjoys writing compositions with Teacher David guiding her. She tells me that Teacher David makes the class fun and she feels she is ‘learning a lot’. I have already recommended my friends’ children to LCentral as they certainly have given Krisha a head start to her primary school years.
Sabrina, Manisha and Denise
We all joined LCentral when we were in Primary Five now we’re in the PSLE programme and are feeling confident and excited about the upcoming exam.
Everyone feels comfortable expressing their views in classroom guided conversations and encouraged to ask each other questions. The topics we discuss are really interesting. Picture discussions have become easier. Our teachers have commented on how clear and articulate our presentations now are. We are challenged all the time when writing compositions. Our LCentral teachers want us to achieve only the best. We’ve all become great friends at LCentral but most importantly our parents are thrilled that our results have improved.
Yun Ting and Ming Hon
I was initially very concerned about Yun Ting’s reading. It was terrible before she joined the LiftOff programme. She was having trouble reading 3-letter words. I was very impressed at how quickly she improved as soon as she started LiftOff. Now she’s reading independently. She’s also finding mathematics easier now that she understands what she reads. Yun Ting is now enrolled in the Success programme. Already I have seen improvement in her written comprehension. I have confidence in LCentral programmes and teachers and that is why I decided to also enrol my son.
Ming Hon started in Foundations and in a short time moved up to the LaunchPad programme to develop his pre-reading skills. Until I enrolled my son at LCentral he didn't enjoy attending tuition centres but he’s really comfortable at LCentral he’s having fun and learning at the same time and that’s very important. I have confidently recommended several friends to join LCentral.
Sabrina Toh and Sherrilyn Tan
I know my daughter is well prepared for the PSLE thanks to LCentral’s Success programme and her dedicated teachers. The Success units of work cover all the areas she needed to focus on to improve her English. Sabrina was delighted after the oral exam. The picture discussion scene was similar to one she had studied in class. She was able to correctly use figurative language. Sabrina says the lessons are always fun and interesting. From her workbook I can see what she has been doing and the progress she is making. I’m impressed by the language she uses in her composition writing. Getting regular written reports and feedback from her teacher has put my mind at ease. Sabrina is now very motivated toward doing the best she can. I can confidently recommend LCentral to other parents.
